Today, Anna went to the Neubau Kunstmuseum in Basel, Switzerland (the art-hub city in the north where her Grandmother resides)! The Neubau building (meaning "new construction") is the new addition to the famous Kunstmuseum Basel! It was designed by local Basel-architects: Christ & Gantenbein! Filled with modern artworks ranging from Picasso to Lichtenstein, the art museum was filled with interesting modern art. Most surprising, however, was the life-like sculpture seen in the right-most picture, which gave Anna a fright when she turned the corner! Its shockingly realistic face and posture could fool anyone.
